Hello, I’m Kelley!
Being a natural nurturer, I’ve found my true calling in work that goes beyond just a job—it’s a heartfelt mission to empower and uplift birthing people and their families. With over 25 years of experience in the medical field, and having had the incredible experience of birthing my son at home in 1998 with the support of a midwife and doula, I bring a wealth of knowledge, compassion, and firsthand understanding to my doula services. My goal is to be by your side during one of life’s most transformative moments, helping you tap into your strength and confidence as you welcome new life.
My journey as a doula is guided by a deep passion to support and care for birthing individuals through this meaningful time. It’s an honor to offer compassionate and skilled care while you navigate your path to parenthood. I cherish the privilege of encouraging and uplifting families during this powerful, life-changing season, and I’m genuinely grateful to share these beautiful moments with you.
Services & Fees
All interested families are welcome to schedule a no-cost meet & greet (in person or virtual). This is a great way to determine if I am the right fit for you and your birth.
Labor & Birth Services
Birth is a journey — one that is deeply personal, powerful, and transformative. I aim for you to feel engaged, heard, supported, and fully prepared to navigate each stage of labor with confidence.
Why choose doula support for your birth?
Numerous studies have highlighted the positive impact of doula support on birth outcomes, including an average of 25% shorter labors, 39% less likely to require a cesarean, and 15% less likely to use pain medications. Doulas also increase client satisfaction with the birth experience, improve infant outcomes, and lower rates of postpartum depression. As your doula, I’m here to guide you through every step, providing emotional, physical, and informational support tailored to your unique needs, making you feel genuinely understood and cared for.
What’s Included: We will meet prenatally 2-3 times to go over all of your birth needs and desires and develop your birth and postpartum plan. I will be on-call from 37 weeks until your baby is born. Once I join you at your chosen place that you will be delivering, in collaboration with your birth team, I will provide continuous emotional, physical and informational support and stay with you for 1-2 hours after your baby is born. After birth, I’ll continue to support you with two postnatal visits within the first three weeks and be available by phone and text for any questions or concerns.
Fee: $1,000
50% deposit due at time of hire to hold your due date on my calendar. Remainder due by 36 weeks.
Postpartum Services
This time is about more than just surviving; it’s about thriving as you bond with your baby and grow into your new role. I aim to create a space where you feel seen, heard, and supported in whatever way you need.
Why choose ongoing daytime support?
Having consistent support can make a world of difference in your postpartum journey. It’s about creating a smoother, more peaceful transition for you and your baby, relieving you of unnecessary stress and anxiety so you can focus on what matters most: bonding with your little one and nurturing yourself.
What’s Included: I offer ongoing daytime support tailored to your needs. Whether you need help with newborn care, assistance with light household tasks, or simply a chance to rest and recharge, I’m here for you. I understand that every person's needs are unique, and I'm ready to adapt to your situation. Each shift is a minimum of 4 hours, ensuring you have the time and space you need to feel supported.
During our time together, I can provide practical guidance on infant feeding, sleep routines, newborn care, and emotional support to help you adjust to life with your little one. I’m here to help you feel more confident, relaxed, and empowered during this transition, offering a compassionate presence and a helping hand whenever needed.
